My husband and I were considering buying property in Spain, and we had a lot of questions: from choosing an area to legal and financial subtleties. Without knowing the language and all the other nuances, it was very scary to choose a firm and a person to handle our deal. Vitalii calmly and to the point went through every item, explained everything in simple terms and gave practical advice that really came in handy.

  Special thanks for the detailed consultation on taxes and getting a residence permit. These are topics where it is easy to get confused, but Vitalii laid it all out clearly: which taxes we would have to pay, what residence permit options there are and what to pay attention to. Essentially, we got a consultation from both an estate agent and a lawyer, after which the picture became much clearer.

  We have worked with Vitalii Kotenko more than once: first on a rental, now on buying property. And I can say that he really is very pleasant to work with. Vitalii doesn't just offer options, he tries to understand what exactly you need, and he is good at it. He found suitable options for me, for my friends and for my relatives, for completely different requests, budgets and wishes.

  I especially want to mention his attitude after the deal. As often happens with rentals, questions, hiccups and situations with the owners or the property itself come up from time to time. And here Vitalii never disappears once his work is formally finished. On the contrary, he always tries to help and sort things out, and there were situations when he got involved and helped even at the expense of his own interests. For me, that says a lot about a person.

  In general, to be honest, after dealing with estate agents you are quite often left with an unpleasant aftertaste: the feeling that they just want to sell you something or close a deal. With Vitalii it is the other way round. He is a decent, experienced, calm and very sensible professional you can trust. That is why I am happy to recommend him and keep working with him myself. I think this is exactly that rare case when you genuinely want to recommend an estate agent to people you know!
