La Salamandra II in Sierra Cortina is a small complex of 31 homes: flats from one bedroom up to three-bedroom áticos with a solarium, plus a row of townhouses. Among the Sierra Cortina new builds in my database, it is the cheapest way into a development where the neighbours are mostly villas.

The building stands on Calle Londres inside the Sierra Cortina development. The sea is about four kilometres away, and people drive to the beach. All projects nearby are on two-bedroom flats in Finestrat.

La Salamandra II homes floor by floor

The two-bedroom flat on the first floor opens Sierra Cortina at the lowest price among local new builds. A lounge with kitchen, two bedrooms and a terrace of about eighteen square metres.

The two-bedroom ground-floor flat opens onto its own garden. Gardens vary widely: the largest, almost a hundred metres, goes with the cheapest garden flat. This is a case where you pick by flat number.

The three-bedroom ático is the roomiest format. Its own solarium sits above, and the ático with the large terrace also has the lowest price per metre in the building.

What La Salamandra II already includes

Cooling and heating come from a Fujitsu heat pump, ducted to the lounge and every bedroom. Hot water comes from the flat's own aerothermal unit, and mechanical ventilation refreshes the air.

An island kitchen with white fronts and a quartz worktop, the hood built into the ceiling. Large Keraben porcelain floors, bathrooms tiled to the ceiling, wall-hung Roca sanitaryware and thermostatic shower columns. Aluminium thermal-break windows, blinds in the bedrooms.

The plot is gated, with a motorised entrance and a video entry phone at the pedestrian gate. The lawn waters itself and solar panels power the shared areas. There are two pools: one for the first block, another for the second and third. Parking and storage rooms are underground.

Kitchen appliances are not included: cabinets, worktop and hood are there, while you choose the hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher yourself.
