Alfaz Essence in l'Alfàs del Pi is 123 homes, mostly two-bedroom, in low-rise blocks, and each one has its own piece of sky or ground. The lower homes open onto a private garden. The upper ones get a solarium nearly the size of the flat itself.

Where Alfaz Essence is: l'Alfàs del Pi

The complex sits in the residential part of l'Alfàs del Pi, a little over five kilometres from the sea, so the beach is a drive. The nearest new builds in my database are villas and townhouses in neighbouring La Nucía. Keys are planned before summer 2028. The rest of the region is on Marina Baixa, two bedrooms.

Garden or solarium at Alfaz Essence

A ground-level home is the cheapest way in, with your own patio off the lounge. Gardens vary a lot, from a small patio to a plot with room for lawn, a dining table and even a pool.

A top-level home costs more, but comes with a solarium almost as big as the flat. Spread the price over every metre and the top works out at least a quarter cheaper than the ground level.

There is also a three-bedroom option at ground level, with a generous garden.

What Alfaz Essence already includes

The building is wrapped in ETICS insulation across the whole façade, with insulated plasterboard inside. Thermal-break windows with double glazing, motorised roller shutters in the bedrooms. An impact-noise membrane runs between floors.

A heat pump with ducts handles heating and cooling, with remote control through a web server. Each home has its own aerothermal hot water. Terraces and solariums have a socket and light, and ground terraces and solariums also get a water tap.

Every home has its own parking space, underground or outdoors, pre-wired for an electric car charger. The blocks have lifts. The grounds offer a shared pool with sun deck, gardens and a concierge booth.

What Alfaz Essence sells as extras

As standard, the kitchen has a quartz worktop, hood, induction hob and oven. Fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave come as a separate pack. The most interesting option is for the garden and solarium: you can add a jacuzzi or your own pool.

Neighbours of Alfaz Essence

Nearby it is mostly houses with plots, and noticeably pricier. Alfaz Essence offers a flat with a garden or solarium here for a price at which the neighbours do not even start.

Who Alfaz Essence suits

A retired couple who want a garden without running a whole house: a ground-level home with no stairs.

People who like living up top: a solarium for dinners, sun and guests, and a jacuzzi if you wish.

A Spanish holiday home for a small family: two bedrooms, a shared pool and a private patio for the children.

If you want to walk to the beach, this is not the address.
