Ocean Hills in La Cala is one tower-style block of 47 homes, from one-bed flats to three-bed ones. The price of each already covers a garage bay plus a storeroom. The sea is just over a kilometre away. Its specification reads more like a hotel brief than a typical beach build.

La Cala is a seaside quarter by the beach, between Benidorm and Villajoyosa. The sea is just over a kilometre away, an easy drive or bike ride. Keys are scheduled for December 2027 and May 2028. The whole area is in new builds in Villajoyosa.

Which homes Ocean Hills offers

The entry ticket is the one-bed flat: open-plan lounge and kitchen, one bedroom, and a terrace off the lounge. For a couple living by the sea, or for holidays, that is all you need.

Per metre, the garden flat costs more than the flats upstairs: the price also buys a private 75 m² garden, which sits outside the measured floor space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and the garden right by the flat.

For type A flats the price rises with every floor. The top of the list is the three-bedroom homes and the eighth-floor penthouse. They run from 450.000 to 1.001.750 €.

What Ocean Hills already includes

The building is insulated like a northern one. It has a Porcelanosa façade on a steel frame with mineral wool, acoustic burglar-resistant Technal windows and motorised shutters. The front door is armoured.

Heating comes from the floor: electric underfloor heating throughout, with towel rails in the bathrooms. Cooling is ducted from a central aerothermal plant. The units sit in cabinets outside the flat.

Bathrooms arrive as finished modules from the Porcelanosa factory, with a Krion worktop and a step-free shower. The Gamadecor kitchen is delivered with Bosch or Siemens appliances throughout, dishwasher, fridge and washer-dryer included. Lights, thermostats and shutters run on a home automation system.

Rooftop panels feed the communal areas and the lift. A backup generator keeps the essential services running for up to four days. Outside there are pools. Inside there is a heated indoor pool, sauna, hammam and gyms, so winter has plenty to offer without leaving the grounds.

What Ocean Hills sells as extras

The floor slabs were designed from the start to carry a glass-bottomed pool or a large jacuzzi on the terrace. That installation, like a pergola, a solar panel for the flat, cameras and an alarm, is an option.

Neighbours of Ocean Hills

The closest neighbour is across the road and starts at two bedrooms. Ocean Hills has a lower entry thanks to its one-bedroom flat, and the storage room is already included here. The rest of the list sits further up, in Finestrat and on the Benidorm border, noticeably further from the sea.

Who Ocean Hills suits

A couple after a flat by the sea for holidays and winters: one bedroom, a terrace, warm floors and an indoor pool.

A family keen on a garden but not on house maintenance: the ground-floor two-bed with its garden.

People moving here for good who want the kitchen ready on day one: upper-floor three-bedroom homes and the penthouse.

If you want a plot and a private pool, look elsewhere. These are flats with shared grounds.
