Sierra Cortina is a set of gated urbanisations on the hills of Finestrat, with the skyscrapers of Benidorm in sight. Every complex has its own pool, gym and playground, but there are hardly any shops or offices inside the area: what you find is a Michelin-starred restaurant and the Asia Gardens hotel, closed to outsiders.
The urbanisation once had its own golf course, but the club closed in the summer of 2017. A private club with padel, tennis, a gym and a pool now stands in its place, and the nearest golf is at Villaitana, in neighbouring Benidorm.
A car is practically a must here. The boulevard and beaches of Benidorm are 10-15 minutes away by car or bus, the Marina Baixa public hospital in Villajoyosa is also 10-15 minutes, and Alicante airport about 40-45 minutes.
Right now my listing has 7 projects in Sierra Cortina, from €289,000, with the most expensive projects from €1,195,000. New-build prices per metre run from €3,988 to €8,413. Completion dates: 2027-2028.
