Eco Houses Polop is six villas whose load-bearing walls and floors are made of cross-laminated timber, CLT. Each house has three bedrooms plus its own pool and solarium. All are named after trees: Olivo, Pino, Palma, Limón, Granado, Naranjo.
The villas stand on Calle Nimega in a new residential quarter of Polop, about nine kilometres from the sea by road. The houses are oriented to the south-east.

CLT panels are made of five layers of wood glued crosswise. Such a wall insulates well against heat and noise and resists fire and earthquakes.
On top of that come aerothermal heating, solar panels and heat recovery units. Fresh air flows in constantly while heating and cooling costs stay low. The result is an energy certificate of class A.
The semi-basement is bright and fully usable: a second lounge where the family gathers while someone sleeps upstairs. Next to the house stands a storage annex that easily becomes a sauna.
The price rises as the build progresses. Buyers who come in early keep the difference.
The kitchen is fully equipped on delivery. Air conditioning has its own thermostat in every room; bathrooms have underfloor heating, and the kitchen can have it on request.
Aluminium windows with two argon-filled chambers and motorised exterior shutters. Basic home automation is included.
Outside, a lit pool and a garden with automatic irrigation and lighting.
None of the neighbouring projects in this radius is built in timber: CLT is only here.
Buyers who watch their power bills and want a house with minimal climate costs.
A family with kids: three bedrooms upstairs and a whole lower level for games and sport.
People who value natural materials and clean indoor air all year round.
If you want to walk down to the sea, this address will not fit.
