Alfaz Essence in L'Alfàs del Pi: an apartment with a garden or a solarium from 278,000 euros, courts two minutes away

7:30. Coffee on your own terrace

Alfaz Essence has 123 apartments in low-rise blocks, and each one has its own terrace. The living room is open to the kitchen, the windows are large and the room feels bigger than its square metres.

Most apartments have two bedrooms, and they come in two types. Downstairs, the apartment opens onto a terrace and its own garden on the ground. Upstairs, above the apartment there is a private solarium of about 72 m², almost as large as the apartment itself. Choosing between them is choosing where you will spend the evening: on the grass by the house or above the rooftops.

8:30. A kitchen you don't need to finish

The kitchen is handed over finished: wall and base units, a quartz worktop, a built-in hood, an induction hob and an electric oven. A fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave can be built in as a package for 5,672 euros, and then on key day all you have to bring is the crockery.

In the bathroom there is a resin shower tray and a rain shower. Floors are warm laminate, porcelain stoneware in wet areas and a non-slip version on the terraces. Windows have thermal break frames and double glazing, and the bedrooms have motorised shutters: in summer it is easy to shade the room during the day.

9:00. Padel two minutes' walk away

The Alfaz del Sol sports club is a two-minute walk away: tennis, padel, basketball, five-a-side football and a gym. A morning game here needs no car and no parking. Nearby is also the La Nucía sports city, which I wrote about in the article «La Nucía, the city of sport», and the Don Cayo, Puig Campana Golf and Villaitana golf courses are a short drive away.

11:00. Albir beach ten minutes away

The beach is about 10 minutes by car, 5.2 km by road. Altea is also ten minutes away and the centre of Benidorm fifteen. The Serra Gelada nature park is next door, and there are cycling and walking routes for every level.

Alicante airport is 48 minutes away.

17:00. A pool and a playground by the house

In the afternoon life in the complex gathers around the shared pool with a beach area for sunbathing. The blocks are linked by well-kept gardens, and children have their own playground: a child plays inside the complex, not out on the street.

Ground-floor apartments with a garden on natural ground can add their own pool of 3.95 by 2.20 metres: an above-ground one for 14,770 euros or an in-ground one for 25,704 euros. Instead of a pool you can have a jacuzzi of the same size for 17,517 euros.

20:00. Dinner on the solarium

The solarium of an upper apartment is about 72 m²: there is room for a dining table, sun loungers and guests. Terraces and solariums have lighting and a socket, and the solariums also have a water tap: a summer kitchen or a shower can be set up without building work. Many top-floor apartments have sea views according to the list.

The car spends the night in its own space: every apartment has a parking space in the basement or above ground, a gate with a remote and pre-installation for charging an electric car. Lifts serve the entrances, and entry is by video intercom.

Now let's do the maths

The lowest metre in the complex belongs to the solarium apartments: for 53,000 euros more than the lower apartment you get about 72 m² more of your own open-air space. If a garden on the ground and stepping straight from the living room onto the grass matters to you, the lower apartment from 278,000 is the one.

On top of the price come 10% VAT and 1.4% stamp duty, plus the notary and registration.

Construction began in June 2026, with handover before summer 2028. At the sales office next to the plot a fitted kitchen and finish samples are already on display: you choose your options from them while the house is being built.

Who is nearby

Within two and a half kilometres there are new homes of a different kind. The villas of Vila Natura in La Nucía cost from 590,000 euros, the villas of Amiral from 656,217 euros. Two-bedroom apartments at La Nucía Pines start at 349,388 euros: Alfaz Essence is 71 thousand cheaper and also gives you your own garden or solarium. Who it suits

For a couple who want to live by the sea all year round and play padel every morning. For a family with a child who needs a garden and a playground inside the complex. For a second-home buyer who will come for the summer and wants to have dinner on their own solarium with a view.
